Super Supplements

The list of super supplements below is by no means exhaustive. In fact, there are so many great supplements I’ll be adding to the list periodically. There’s just too many to go through all in one go!

Remember though that supper supplements are just that . . . supplements to your diet. They are not meal replacements! In fact, before anything else, you should be focusing on your healthy balanced diet. Take a look at the nutrition guide if you need to work on yours!

I have placed the following supplements in alphabetical order, rather than any order of preference. And that’s because I can only go by research and what other users have to say. I haven’t tried them all to form my own opinions!

But as always, speak with your doctor, physician, or any other appropriate primary healthcare professional before supplementing your diet. There could be contraindications that would make it inadvisable to take a certain supplement.

Alpha Lipoic Acid has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, and increases your cells’ ability to take in glucose. This increased sensitivity to insulin leads to a decrease in blood sugar levels and therefore accelerated weight loss.

Chromium helps you reduce excess body fat and maintain a healthy level by reducing blood sugar and insulin levels. It is also helpful whilst dieting as it helps to control appetite and reduce sugar cravings.

Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, and also has benefits for treating obesity and maintaining your optimal weight. It aids the energy production within the mitochondria, and is especially helpful for those over the age of 40. This is because our cells are less able to produce energy as we get older. This is definitely one of the best super supplements on this list!
