Women's There's Lovely T Shirt

Although based on an Anglo-Welsh in-joke, the inspiration for this piece actually came from a beautiful and exceptionally talented Pakistani-Finnish-English woman whose life I am lucky enough to share. 'Lovely' is a term of endearment for Zarina.

In learning to appreciate the best of Pakistani and Finnish cultures, I've gained a stronger affinity towards the best of my own Welsh upbringing. But I also have an increasing abhorrence of the worst of English and American anti-cultures, particularly where the acquisition of wealth replaces common humanity and empty celebrity replaces laudable human values such as respect and compassion.

Don't imagine I see home through rose-tinted glasses. It's just that in Wales I sense a growing appetite for a better society.

I like the typography of this piece so much I used it for the front page of the site. I think it works particularly well because its creation was inspired by admiration, love and respect for a very special woman.
