Women's Daffodil Soldier T Shirt I came across the expression 'daffodil soldiers' in an article by Robert Kitson in the Guardian newspaper. He was writing about the Six Nations-winning Welsh rugby team and drawing attention to the fact that, with the U21 squad achieving the same feat, there were plenty more 'daffodil soldiers' coming up through the ranks. The expression made me think about Julian Cayo Evans, a man I knew little about other than that he was a somewhat mythical figure whose arrest and trial had made a great impression on me as a child. What I subsequently discovered caused me to dedicate the male version of this piece to his memory. Click on this link for more information about Julian Cayo Evans and the FWA at 1969. He was "a bit of a 'ladies man'", according to the website devoted to his memory. However, the women's version of this piece is dedicated to his daughter, Sian Dalis Cayo-Evans, with the greatest respect. Printed daffodil yellow on 240-gram army green 100% cotton jersey. Price: £16.00 (£18.40 inc. VAT)
